About - Inside Art Trader

Inside Art Trader features a constantly changing collection of unique and diverse artwork, which is no longer available in the retail art market.

We are offering the work on behalf of its current owner. Most of this work is at least 20 years old, and not to be found elsewhere, except possibly through expensive auction houses, or dubious auction sites.

We have created a marketplace where buyers can view artwork for sale by a current owner, that we are brokering directly for the owner, and that we have in our possession and for which we can verify authenticity, condition, provenance, etc.

We are not competing, or interfering with galleries, since they no longer have these works available for sale.
(We have been in the art business since 1978, and we would never undercut or work against retail dealers, who know and trust us.)

For their part, the owner/seller agrees to be very realistic about the prices expected, (we will establish a workable, fair base price before the piece is listed.)

The buyer has the confidence of knowing they are dealing with a reputable, established source; that the artwork is legitimate and what it is represented to be; and that the prices will not only be realistic, but an excellent value.

And as a retail dealer, you might be able to create a sale, and a new, satisfied client, by finding the older work they have been looking for!

The best part is how easily and securely this will work for everyone:

We will list a work of art, with high resolution picture and all known information on it's history, method, condition, size, framing, etc.

After viewing a large image version of the work on our site, an interested buyer has the opportunity to call or email with any questions, or simply click on a 'submit' icon, and fill in the price they would like to offer for the piece.

The owner/seller will:

1) Accept, 2) Decline or 3) Counter that offer. It will all be done through email, and we will handle all the details, the communications, the billing and the shipping. (Buyers are invited to call if they prefer to speak to us personally.)

We are commited to making our new concept good for all parties:

For our buyer, this is better than a traditional auction, since you will actually be dealing directly with the seller, and won’t be competing with other buyers, waiting out the close of an auction, only to find you have have missed the cutoff time, or that the price has unrealistically increased, or you have been outbid...When you legitimately want the work in question, you can own it and have it in your possession within a week!
For our owner, you now have a legitimate, respected avenue to offer your prized artwork, without having to invest your time and energy, or address the negotiations, the paperwork, the processing, the packing and shipping.
And For us - We are proud of the work we do, and the reputation we have in the art industry. We are knowledgeable, ethical, and pleased to be able to bring everyone together, to create sales that benefit all of us, where everyone will be served.
And we will continue our Seventh Heaven policy and will stand behind each sale. If a buyer is not delighted, the work of art may be returned, in the condition it was received, for a full credit (less a small processing fee.) If an owner no longer wishes to sell the listed artwork, and there are no current offers, we will return it to you at our expense.
